Artificial Intelligence in Organizations and Business

Today we aren’t asking if artificial intelligence will change the world. We’re asking how we will shape that change together. I am here to talk about something that’s already in your pocket and on your desk. Making decisions about your life right now. Artificial Intelligence is not coming. It’s here.
Let me share something that might surprise you. Over 77% of the devices we use today feature some form of AI. Your phone’s camera, your email spam filter, your automobile, even the playlist you listened to this morning … all powered by artificial intelligence.
Here’s what most people get wrong: AI isn’t trying to replace human intelligence. It’s designed to augment it. To handle repetitive tasks so we can focus on the remarkable.
Healthcare, conservation, manufacturing and tourism … every industry is being changed by the revolution of artificial intelligence. AI is becoming our assistant, not a replacement for human decision making. For example, your doctor will still examine your x-ray, CAT scan or MRI … but in a few minutes, AI can compare that scan with hundreds of thousands to find relevant issues the doctor needs to know about.
What does all this mean for us? Three things.
First: Efficiency. Tasks that took hours a few years ago now take minutes. AI can analyze thousands of data points while you grab your coffee.
Second: Personalization. AI learns what works for you – whether that’s how you learn, communicate or work.
Third: Accessibility. AI democratizes expertise. You can now analyze complex data with curiosity and the right tools.
Small businesses become more competitive. Large organizations enhance communication, sales and productivity. Creators and marketing departments bring visions to life without huge budgets. I share with you the practical ways AI will have a positive impact on your organization.
I also want to talk about the challenges of AI. The bias in algorithms. Privacy concerns. Job changes and displacement. AI makes mistakes. We need to build systems with accountability. We need to keep humans in the loop. We need to ask who benefits and who might be harmed?
Responsible AI means transparent systems, diverse development teams, and oversight. It means building technology that serves our organization, employees and members.
Here is what I want you to remember: Artificial Intelligence is a tool. A powerful one. Like any tool, its impact depends entirely on how we use it. Let’s use it wisely. Let’s use it to build a future where technology elevates everyone.
